摘要:Cardiometabolic diseases have substantially increased in China in the past 20 years and blood pressure is a primary modifiable risk factor. Using data from the China Health and Nutrition Survey, we examine blood pressure trends in China from 1991 to 2009, with a concentration on age cohorts and urbanicity. 摘要:A classic network tomography problem is estimation of properties of the distribution of route traffic volumes based on counts taken on the network links. We consider inference for a general class of models for integer-valued traffic. Model identifiability is examined. We investigate both maximum likelihood and Bayesian methods of estimation. 摘要:Modeling a precipitation field is challenging due to its intermittent and highly scale-dependent nature. Motivated by the features of high-frequency precipitation data from a network of rain gauges, we propose a threshold space-time t random field (tRF) model for 15-minute precipitation occurrences.
