摘要：The article Continuity of Care and Risk of Readmission: An Investigation into the Healthcare Journey of Heart Failure Patients won the 2020 Ralph Gomory Best Industry Studies Paper Award. This award recognizes the valuable contributions provided by academic research that is anchored in a deep understanding of industries. In this article, I discuss how my interactions with practitioners challenged me and ultimately shaped many critical aspects of the awarded study.

摘要：The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals provide a road map for countries to achieve peace and prosperity. 摘要：In this study, we consider a resource recovery planning problem under a public-private partnership. The local authority's problem is to determine the waste sorting scheme, and also a cost-sharing budget, to minimize her expected payout, subject to a requirement of economic feasibility of the private operator. 摘要：Energy sources and commodities exhibit high price risk. This risk is thus an important feature of operational models of the value chains for these goods. 摘要：We study, using a stylized analytical model, an entrepreneur's design of the optimal product menu for crowdfunding together with the optimal choice of the funding target. We find that in contrast to prior literature on crowdfunding, downward quality distortion of the low-quality product in the entrepreneur's product menu under crowdfunding can be higher, lesser or even non-existent than that under traditional selling.
