摘要:The noncooperative game with private constraints is studied, where heterogeneous players communicate over a weight-unbalanced digraph. A novel distributed Nash equilibrium (NE) seeking algorithm is adapted for this problem tackling two main difficulties. First, the presence of the unbalanced digraph disrupts some essential properties of the Laplacian matrix. To overcome this limitation, a compensation mechanism based on output feedback is introduced. Second, to ensure players' actions meet the...

摘要:We study auxiliary signal-based fault detection in static linear systems with quadratic constraints. Auxiliary signals are perturbations that make faults easier to detect, at the cost of some disruption to normal operation. In this article, we find minimally disruptive auxiliary signals that guarantee detection under set-based uncertainty. Our motivation is distance protection in inverter-dominated power systems, wherein small fault currents can go undetected by traditional schemes. We focus o...

摘要:We address a distributed adaptive control methodology for nonlinear interconnected systems possibly affected by replay cyber-attacks. In the framework of adaptive approximation, the distributed controller and parameter estimator are designed by exploiting a backstepping approach. The stability of the attacked distributed control system is analyzed, where both the local replay attack and neighboring attack propagation effects are simultaneously considered. To quantify the resilience of the inte...

摘要:In this article, we are concerned with the problem of distributed state estimation for discrete-time linear systems using a network of agents, where the measurement of each agent suffers from the lack of detectability with the system dynamics. The existing results on this topic require stringent condition either on the network connectivity or on the detectability. In contrast, a new form of distributed observer, which ensures that all agents asymptotically estimate the system state under the m...

摘要:Eco-friendly freight operations are crucial for decarbonizing the transportation sector. Systematic analysis of policy measures requires a principled modeling approach. While the commonly used model referred to as a routing game considers the congestible nature of transportation facilities, existing models fail to account for environmental factors. This article aims at providing a mathematical framework to study strategic interaction between owners of mixed fleets comprising both internal comb...

摘要:This article introduces the concept of soft safety for nonlinear dynamical systems, examined from an input-output perspective, and establishes criteria for verifying soft safety in interconnected systems. Diverging from traditional safety approaches that enforce rigid/hard constraints on system states, our proposal involves integrating soft barrier functions with respect to system inputs and outputs to characterize soft safety. Particularly, when the soft barrier function takes a quadratic for...

摘要:We study a solo adaptation-based protocol design problem for distributed synchronization of event-triggered linear multiagent systems (MASs) over general directed graphs. We show that a solo adaptive gain, a locally static control gain matrix, and a distributed state measurement are sufficient for obtaining adaptive distributed synchronization of linear MAS over directed graphs without any prior knowledge of the global communication network. We then extend the solo adaptation structure to form...

摘要:In this article, we study a slow-fast realization of nonholonomic Hamiltonian control systems mediated by strong friction forces which is viewed as a singular perturbation of the nonholonomic system. We propose a systematic decomposition of the perturbed dynamics into slow and fast directions using the kinetic energy metric and the geometry of friction forces. The (slow) invariant manifold is identified by a set of invariance conditions resulting in partial differential equations that generall...

摘要:Information compression techniques are majorly employed to reduce communication cost over peer-to-peer links. In this article, we investigate distributed Nash equilibrium (NE) seeking problems in a class of noncooperative games over directed graphs with information compression. To improve communication efficiency, a compressed distributed NE seeking (C-DNES) algorithm is proposed to obtain an NE for games, where the differences between decision vectors and their estimates are compressed. The p...

摘要:Autonomous synchronization presents a novel paradigm that circumvents the need for prior knowledge of target agent dynamics in the conventional synchronization of heterogeneous multiagent systems (MASs). It employs a dynamics update law and a state synchronizing control law, collectively termed a two-level controller, to facilitate synchronization in heterogeneous MASs autonomously. Nevertheless, the existing theory is constrained by the requirement of network topology information for calculat...
