摘要:This article is devoted to the stabilization via adaptive feedback for a class of uncertain coupled reaction-diffusion dynamics in the actuation path of an ordinary differential equation (ODE) system. The system under investigation, a class of coupled parabolic partial differential equation (PDE)-ODE systems, is more representative since the dynamics in actuation path (i.e., the PDE subsystem) are coupled rather than uncoupled parabolic equations and hence includes those in the related literat...

摘要:This article studies the contraction properties of nonlinear differential-algebraic equation (DAE) systems. Such systems typically appear as a singular perturbation reduction of a multiple-time-scale differential system. In addition, a given DAE may result from the reduction of many synthetic differential systems. We show that an important property of a contracting DAE system is that the reduced system always contracts faster than any synthetic counterpart. At the same time, there always exist...

摘要:In this article, we develop a modular design method of decentralized controllers for linear dynamical network systems, where multiple subcontroller designers aim at individually regulating their local control performance with accessibility only to their respective subsystem models. First, we derive a constrained version of the Youla parameterization that characterizes all retrofit controllers for a single subcontroller, defined as an add-on-type subcontroller that manages a subsystem. The resu...

摘要:Data-based, exponentially converging observers are developed for a monocular camera to estimate the Euclidean distance (and hence accurately scaled coordinates) to features on a stationary object and to estimate the Euclidean trajectory taken by the camera while tracking the object, without requiring the typical positive depth constraint. A Lyapunov-based stability analysis shows that the developed observers are exponentially converging without requiring persistence of excitation through the u...

摘要:This article addresses the distributed asynchronous consensus problem for nonlinear multiagent systems with switching topologies. Different from the existing results, we consider the detection delay of topology modes and some topologies having no directed spanning tree with leader as the root. In these conditions, the distributed asynchronous switched observer is first developed for each follower to accurately estimate the state information of the leader. Then, an output feedback distributed c...

摘要:With the popularization and application of cyber-physical systems in many industry and infrastructure fields, the security issue has been quite an important concern. This article addresses the defense problem against the data tampering attack under the framework of system identification with binary-valued observations. From the perspective of the attacker, it is shown that how to achieve the maximum hit effect with the least attack energy. From the perspective of the defender, a so-called comp...

摘要:The consensus problem of heterogeneous second-order nonlinear uncertain multiagent systems under switching networks is addressed by a distributed control approach. The network communication of all systems is subject to arbitrarily bounded and nonuniform time-varying delays. Based on the internal model principle, a nonlinear distributed dynamic controller is developed to solve the problem. By means of Lyapunov analysis, consensus of heterogeneous second-order nonlinear multiagent systems is ach...

摘要:This article characterizes the energy-related controllability of composite complex networks. We consider a class of composite networks constructed from simple factor networks via Cartesian product. The considered factor networks are leader-follower signed networks with neighbor-based Laplacian dynamics, adopting positive and negative edges to capture cooperative and competitive interactions among network units. Different from most existing works focusing on classical controllability, this arti...

摘要:This article studies the stabilization to exponential input-to-state stability (ISS) via aperiodic intermittent control (APIC) for continuous-time systems. The stabilization is formulated as a problem of minimum activation time rate (MATR) of nontrivial APIC. The MATR is investigated, respectively, for time-triggered APIC (T-APIC) and event-triggered APIC (E-APIC). The MATR of T-APIC is estimated and the criteria of stabilization to ISS via T-APIC are derived. Moreover, the state dependent E-A...

摘要:This article investigates the problem of global adaptive stabilization for discrete-time nonlinearly parameterized systems with nonaffine inputs. Using the notion of passivity and the idea of small bounded feedback, we present a discrete-time adaptive controller that globally adaptively stabilizes a class of non-affine systems with unknown parameters, under the assumptions that the unforced dynamics are stable and the controllabilitylike rank conditions hold. The latter is shown to be characte...
