摘要:This article addresses the problem of cooperative adaptive containment control for multiagent systems, which specifies the objective of jointly achieving containment control and accurate adaptive learning/identification of unknown system parameters. We consider a class of linear uncertain multiagent systems with multiple leaders subject to bounded unmeasurable inputs and multiple followers subject to unknown system dynamics. A novel cooperative adaptive containment control architecture is prop...

摘要:This article concerns the evolution of multiagent systems on networks over Riemannian manifolds. The motion of each agent is governed by the gradient descent flow of a disagreement function that is a sum of (squared) distances between pairs of communicating agents. Two metrics are considered: geodesic distances and chordal distances for manifolds that are embedded in an ambient Euclidean space. We show that networks that, roughly speaking, are dominated by a large cycle yield multistable syste...

摘要:This article addresses reset moving horizon estimation for multiple output discrete-time systems with quantized measurements. A new state reset estimator is designed based on a one-dimensional noisy measurement to overcome underestimation or overestimation of the system state, and an iterative algorithm is proposed to deal with multiple output systems. It is shown that with the proposed reset algorithm, the state estimation error is improved in the presence of over or under estimation, and the...

摘要:Distributional ambiguity sets provide quantifiable ways to characterize the uncertainty about the true probability distribution of random variables of interest. This makes them a key element in data-driven robust optimization by exploiting high-confidence guarantees to hedge against uncertainty. This article explores the construction of Wasserstein ambiguity sets in dynamic scenarios, where data are collected progressively and may only reveal partial information about the unknown random variab...

摘要:This article is concerned with the sliding mode control (SMC) for stabilizing a switched linear system with external disturbances and uncertain nonlinearities. The state sampling is implemented by an event-triggered mechanism (ETM) and the sampled data are transmitted through a limited-bandwidth digital channel. The main challenge of such a work comes from the quantizer saturation and quantization error in the SMC design with finite-level quantization and the mismatched control caused by the s...

摘要:We study the robustness of accelerated first-order algorithms to stochastic uncertainties in gradient evaluation. Specifically, for unconstrained, smooth, strongly convex optimization problems, we examine the mean-squared error in the optimization variable when the iterates are perturbed by additive white noise. This type of uncertainty may arise in situations where an approximation of the gradient is sought through measurements of a real system or in a distributed computation over a network. ...

摘要:This article considers control synthesis of an autonomous agent with linear temporal logic (LTL) specifications subject to environment and motion uncertainties. Specifically, the probabilistic motion of the agent is modeled by a Markov decision process (MDP) with unknown transition probabilities. The operating environment is assumed to be partially known, where the desired LTL specifications might be partially infeasible. A relaxed product MDP is constructed that allows the agent to revise its...

摘要:In cyber-physical systems (CPS), inference based on communicated data is of critical significance as it can be used to manipulate or damage the control operations by adversaries. This calls for efficient mechanisms for secure transmission of data since control systems are becoming increasingly distributed over larger geographical areas. Distortion-based security, recently proposed as one candidate for secure transmissions in CPS, is not only more appropriate for these applications but also qui...

摘要:In this article, a new variational adaptive Kalman filter with Gaussian-inverse-Wishart mixture distribution is proposed for a class of linear systems with both partially unknown state and measurement noise covariance matrices. The state transition and measurement likelihood probability density functions are described by a Gaussian-inverse-Wishart mixture distribution and a Gaussian-inverse-Wishart distribution, respectively. The system state vector together with the state noise covariance mat...

摘要:The existing results on the leader-following consensus problem for linear discrete-time multiagent systems over jointly connected switching digraphs only apply to systems without exponentially unstable modes. In this article, we will remove this restriction by employing a more general class of distributed control laws which includes a set of weight coefficients. By introducing the average radius for a switched matrix which is determined by the Laplacian matrix of the switching digraph of the m...
