摘要:In many settings, consumer surplus directly impacts a firm or organization's objective, and the profit-only objective becomes inadequate. 摘要:A retailer places orders periodically for items that are shipped by a wholesaler. Items that are not sold perish randomly and independently of one another, with the perish probability depending on the age class. We consider a first-in-first-out policy for depleting items. 摘要:Many firms are adopting an everything or anything as a service-XaaS-model to sell goods and value-added services. 摘要:For generation products characterized by frequent releases of new versions, when a new version is introduced to the market, the current version usually still has a remaining useful life. This creates a challenge for a firm to manage used product collection and upgraded product introductions at the same time, especially with the presence of a secondary market. 摘要:The rise of contract farming has transformed millions of farmers' lives. We study a new class of contract farming problems, where the farmer holds superior information and can invest effort to improve productivity over time. 摘要:We consider a dynamic Stackelberg game between a manufacturer and a retailer facing a randomly changing market environment (boom-bust cycle) modeled as a Markov process over time.
