  摘要：We use a characterization of the fractional Laplacian as a Dirichlet to Neumann operator for an appropriate differential equation to study its obstacle problem. We write an equivalent characterization as a thin obstacle problem. In this way we are able to apply local type arguments to obtain sharp regularity estimates for the solution and study the regularity of the free boundary.

  摘要：We propose an approach via Frobenius manifolds to the study (began in [BCK2] of the relation between rational Gromov-Witten invariants of nonabelian quotients X//G and those of the corresponding abelianized quotients X//T, for T a maximal torus in G. The ensuing conjecture expresses the Gromov-Witten potential of X//G in terms of the potential of X//T. We prove this conjecture when the nonabelian quotients are partial flag manifolds.

  摘要：In this paper we generalize the local Jacquet-Langlands correspondence to all unitary irreducible representations. We prove the global Jacquet-Langlands correspondence in characteristic zero. As consequences we obtain the multiplicity one and strong multiplicity one Theorems for inner forms of GL(n) as well as a classification of the residual spectrum and automorphic representations in analogy with results proved by Moeglin-Waldspurger and Jacquet-Shalika for GL(n).

  摘要：The curve graph, g, associated to a compact surface Sigma is the 1-skeleton of the curve complex defined by Harvey. Masur and Minsky showed that this graph is hyperbolic and defined the notion of a tight geodesic therein. We prove some finiteness results for such geodesics.   摘要：Let G be a unitary, symplectic or special orthogonal group over a locally compact non-archimedean local field of odd residual characteristic. We construct many new supercuspidal representations of G, and Bushnell-Kutzko types for these representations. Moreover, we prove that every irreducible supercuspidal representation of G arises from our constructions.

  摘要：We prove a local-global principle for the problem of representations of quadratic forms by quadratic forms over Z, in codimension >= 5. The proof uses the ergodic theory of p-adic groups, together with a fairly general observation on the structure of orbits of an arithmetic group acting on integral points of a variety.
