摘要:This article investigates a setting where the retailer invests costly effort to shape demand, such as reducing demand fluctuation through demand-control effort or increasing demand levels with demand-promotion effort. 摘要:We consider a supply chain where multiple suppliers and a manufacturer contribute to the assembly of a product (through providing components or labor). The product fails if any of its components (or elements of work) fails, but finding the faulty component can be prohibitively difficult. 摘要:Cloud Kitchens are delivery-only facilities that house multiple restaurants. Food-delivery platforms operate such kitchens to exploit two advantages: (a) Location advantage, arising due to a cloud-kitchen's central location-this enables lower delivery times to customers.
