摘要:Analyzing data from approximately 1.5 million employees across 1,108 established public and private U.S. companies, we find that the strength of employee beliefs related to purpose is weaker in public companies. Among public companies, those beliefs are stronger for firms with more committed owners. These patterns are most pronounced within the salaried middle and hourly ranks rather than senior executives. 摘要:A combination of point estimates from multiple judges often provides a more accurate aggregate estimate than a point estimate from a single judge, a phenomenon called the wisdom of crowds. 摘要:We examine the effect of a U.S. Supreme Court decision regarding abortion laws on Americans' preferences for political candidates. The decision was leaked in advance of the official announcement, and we track the evolution of political preferences from before to after the leak and, eventually, to after the formal announcement. 摘要:We develop a new privacy-preserving framework for a general class of financial network models, leveraging cryptographic principles from secure multiparty computation and decentralized systems. We show how aggregate-level network statistics required for stability assessment and stress testing can be derived from real data without any individual node revealing its private information to any outside party, be it other nodes in the network, or even a central agent. 摘要:Containing a pandemic is first and foremost a management problem: one has to find ways to reduce mobility and physical contacts in order to slow down the spread of the virus.
