摘要:State estimate of traffic flow of a freeway segment is considered by using the method of boundary observer design. The observer control and measurements are all located at the boundaries. The nonequilibrium traffic flow dynamics are modeled as a Markov jump linear hyperbolic system with phase transitions. 摘要:The problem of output tracking is addressed in this article by a reformulation in terms of a two-point boundary value problem for the plant's zero dynamics, which is allowed to be unstable. On this basis, a hybrid feedback regulator ensuring output tracking is then designed. The robustness properties of the proposed regulator as well as connections with periodic (cheap) optimal control, output regulation, and possible extensions to the nonlinear setting are also discussed.

摘要:This article concerns the solution of a convex optimization problem through the saddle point gradient dynamics. Instead of using the standard Lagrangian as is classical in this method, we consider a regularized Lagrangian obtained through a proximal minimization step. We show that, without assumptions of smoothness or strict convexity in the original problem, the regularized Lagrangian is smooth and leads to globally convergent saddle point dynamics. 摘要:A recursive continuous higher order nonsingular terminal sliding-mode (TSM) controller is proposed in this article for nonlinear systems. A new integral TSM manifold is constructed in a recursive manner by modifying the tool of adding a power of integrator instead of exploring nonrecursive design directly. 摘要:This article presents a first constructive solution to the global finite-time output feedback stabilization of a large class of lower triangular nonlinear systems under relaxed conditions. 摘要:Security of distributed control systems is affected by the presence of information leaks, which permit to external intruders to infer the state of the system itself. 摘要:This article addresses the problem of verifying discrete-time stochastic systems against omega-regular specifications using finite-state abstractions. 摘要:In this article, we study proximal type dynamics in the context of multiagent network games. We analyze several conjugations of this class of games, providing convergence results. Specifically, we look into synchronous/asynchronous dynamics with time-invariant communication network and synchronous dynamics with time-varying communication networks. Finally, we validate the theoretical results via numerical simulations on opinion dynamics.
