摘要:This article is concerned with the output feedback exponential stabilization for a flexible beam with tip mass. When there is no disturbance, it is shown that only one noncollocated measurement is enough to exponentially stabilize the original system by constructing an infinite-dimensional Luenberger state observer to track the state and designing an estimated state-based output feedback control law. This essentially improves the existing result in (Conrad et al. 1998) where two collocated mea...

摘要:This article introduces recurrent equilibrium networks (RENs), a new class of nonlinear dynamical models for applications in machine learning, system identification, and control. The new model class admits built-in behavioral guarantees of stability and robustness. All models in the proposed class are contracting-a strong form of nonlinear stability-and can satisfy prescribed incremental integral quadratic constraints, including Lipschitz bounds and incremental passivity. RENs are otherwise ve...

摘要:A class of finite-horizon optimal control problems, the solution of which relies on a time-varying change of coordinates that incorporates the transition matrix of the system linearized along the current estimate of the optimal process, is studied. The transformed dynamics exhibit a constant optimal costate. Differently from existing methods that hinge upon similar tools, the proposed strategy does not require at each step the (numerical) solution of a two-point boundary value problem or of a ...

摘要:This article considers perception-driven control of a mobile robot for path tracking where perception is performed by a machine learning system. The robot is subject to passive attacks and evasion attacks on image transmission. To defeat the passive attacks, we adopt chaotic encryption technique to disguise pixels of plain images in real time, and construct a bank of fuzzy unknown input observers to decrypt the cipher pixels in parallel. We characterize the security level of the proposed chaot...

摘要:This article discusses the problem of composite H(infinity )control for hidden Markov jump systems subject to replay attacks. Since it is difficult to obtain the mode information of the system directly in practice, a hidden Markov model is adopted to facilitate subsequent works. The hidden state represents the actual system dynamics that cannot be known exactly, but can be observed by the detector. Considering the multi-disturbance phenomenon, one of which is norm bounded and another is produc...

摘要:Maximal monotonicity is explored as a generalization of the linear theory of passivity, aiming at an algorithmic input/output analysis of physical models. The theory is developed for maximal monotone one-port circuits, formed by the series and parallel interconnection of basic elements. These circuits generalize passive linear, time-invariant (LTI) transfer functions. Periodic input signals are shown to be mapped to periodic output signals, and these input-output behaviors can be efficiently c...

摘要:We present a suboptimal economic model predictive control (MPC) algorithm that combines the strengths of two common suboptimal MPC approaches, one based on a warm-start and one based on an optimality gap. This algorithm is specifically designed to address a class of large and infrequent disturbances that are relevant when considering discrete actuators and production scheduling in control problems. We establish that this algorithm provides the same nominal performance guarantee as optimal econ...

摘要:This article deals with the input-output representation of a class of timed discrete event systems. The systems considered are those that can be described using timed event graphs extended with weights on the arcs and clock rate modifiers or time-varying delays. The model relies on periodic expressions using six elementary operators: Shift, multiplication, and division of events and time. In this context, we show how to develop the transfer matrix computation based on a matrix decomposition ca...

摘要:This article introduces the notions of stability, ultimate boundedness, and positive invariance for stochastic systems in view of risk. More specifically, those notions are defined in terms of the worst-case conditional value-at-risk (CVaR), which quantifies the worst-case conditional expectation of losses exceeding a certain threshold over a set of possible uncertainties. Those notions allow us to focus our attention on the tail behavior of stochastic systems in the analysis of dynamical syst...

摘要:In this article, we propose an asynchronous event-triggered distributed predictive control method for the cooperation of multiagent systems with parameterized synchronization constraints. A novel event-triggering condition related to the parameterized information received from neighboring agents is derived for each agent based on the input-to-state stability (ISS) condition. In such a framework, the distributed optimization problem is solved and the parameterized information is exchanged betwe...
