摘要:We discuss the role of monotonicity in enabling numerically tractable modular control design for networked nonlinear systems. We first show that the variational systems of monotone systems can be embedded into positive systems. Utilizing this embedding, we show how to solve a network stabilization problem by enforcing monotonicity and exponential dissipativity of the network subcomponents. Such modular approach leads to a design algorithm based on a sequence of linear programming problems.

摘要:In this article, we consider supervisory control of stochastic discrete event systems (SDESs) under linear temporal logic specifications. Applying the bounded synthesis, we reduce the supervisory synthesis to the problem of satisfying a safety condition. 摘要:In this article, we study the problem of distributed estimation of discrete-time LTI systems with bounded noise against sparse integrity attacks. 摘要:In this article, we consider the problem of estimating the generalized cepstral coefficients of a stationary stochastic process or stationary multidimensional random field. It turns out that a naive version of the periodogram-based estimator for the generalized cepstral coefficients is not consistent. We propose a consistent estimator for those coefficients. 摘要:In this article, we introduce novel duality relations that complement the well-known invariant ellipsoids method. These relations yield ellipsoids with newly established geometrical interpretations and connections to linear system norms.
