摘要:In this article, the locally minimized-variance state estimation problem is investigated for a class of discrete-time nonlinear systems with Lipschitz nonlinearities and binary sensors. The output of each binary sensor takes two possible values (e.g., 0 and 1) in accordance with whether the sensed variable surpasses a prescribed threshold or not. The purpose of this article is to design a state estimation algorithm such that an upper bound of the estimation error covariance is firstly guarante...

摘要:We study the problem of characterizing and computing the Gaussian nonanticipative rate-distortion function (NRDF) of partially observable multivariate Gauss-Markov processes with mean-squared error (MSE) distortion constraints. First, we extend Witsenhausen's tensorization approach originally used for single-letter random variables to causal processes, to obtain a new modified representation of the NRDF for the specific problem. For time-varying vector processes, we prove conditions so that th...

摘要:This article studies the problem of event-triggered (ET) backstepping control with state/output triggering for nonlinear strict-feedback systems. To address the issue of nondifferentiability of virtual controls caused by the ET mechanism, a set of homogeneous feedback filters are constructed to generate smooth state/output estimates with necessary differentiability, all states of which are the estimates of the state of the subsystem of the same order. Then, new coordinate transformations are i...

摘要:The method to design exponentially stable adaptive observers is proposed for linear time-invariant systems parameterized by unknown physical parameters. Unlike existing adaptive solutions, the system state-space matrices A, B are not restricted to be represented in the observer canonical form to implement the observer. The original system description is used instead, and, consequently, the original state vector is obtained. The class of systems for which the method is applicable is identified ...

摘要:In this article, the tracking control problem is investigated for uncertain nonlinear multiple constrained systems. The constraints on tracking error and system states are considered as asymmetric, time-varying, and state-dependent case, which is more general and appropriately unsolved at the present stage. To deal with constraint problem, an adaptive constraint control method based on composite boundary structure is proposed in this article. The state-dependent mapping is introduced to ensure...

摘要:Task allocation is a crucial process in modern systems, but it is often challenged by incomplete information about the utilities of participating agents. In this article, we propose a new profit maximization mechanism for the task allocation problem, where the task publisher seeks an optimal incentive function to maximize its own profit and simultaneously ensure the truthful announcing of the agent's private information (type) and its participation in the task, while an autonomous agent aims a...

摘要:Modern network systems, such as transportation and communication systems, are prone to cyber-physical disruptions and thus suffer efficiency loss. This article studies network resiliency, in terms of throughput, and develops resilient control to improve throughput. We consider single-commodity networks that admit congestion propagation. We also apply a Markov process to model disruption switches. For throughput analysis, we first use insights into congestion spillback to propose novel Lyapunov...

摘要:This note studies the distributed fault diagnosis problem in partially-observed discrete event systems, where the system is monitored by a group of agents to cooperatively diagnose faults within a finite number of steps. The novelty of this work is the creation of a methodology to verify when the faults can be diagnosed even in the presence of transmission delay impairments. To address this scenario, a new distributed diagnosability condition is proposed, which extends decentralized diagnosabi...

摘要:This article considers the problem of nonlinear attitude estimation for a rigid body system using intermittent and multirate inertial vector measurements as well as continuous (high-rate) angular velocity measurements. Two types of hybrid attitude observers on Lie group SO(3) are proposed. First, we propose a hybrid attitude observer where almost global asymptotic stability is guaranteed using the notion of almost global input-to-state stability on manifolds. Thereafter, this hybrid attitude o...

摘要:We use polynomial approximation theory to perform data-driven analysis and control of linear, continuous-time invariant systems. We transform the continuous-time input trajectories and state trajectories into discrete sequences consisting of the coefficients of their orthogonal polynomial bases representations. We show that the dynamics of the transformed input signals and state signals and those of the original continuous-time trajectories are described by the same system matrices. We investi...
