摘要:How does CEOs' trait empathy affect their management of organizational crises? So far, management scholars have highlighted mostly positive effects of CEOs' empathy in the emotionally charged context of crises. We combine the emerging critical perspective on empathy with research on upper echelons and crisis management to provide a more balanced portrayal of the influence of CEO empathy on crisis management. 摘要:Social network researchers have shown that, compared to their effect on majority employees, structural constraints can cause minority employees to end up in network positions that limit their access to resources (i.e., social capital) and that consequently limit their access to professional opportunities. 摘要:We reflect on our 2008 article, 'Implicit' and 'Explicit' CSR: A Conceptual Framework for a Comparative Understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility, first recalling its origins. We contextualize this reflection piece with a stylized interpretation of CSR then (the turn of the twenty-first century) and now (2019). We then focus on two themes: CSR's meaning and its dynamics.
