摘要：This paper exploits a natural experiment to study the effects of providing stronger research incentives to faculty members on universities' average teaching and research performance. The results indicate that professors are induced to reallocate effort from teaching towards research. 摘要：We show that limited wage flexibility in economic downturns generates strong and state-dependent amplification of uncertainty shocks. It also explains the cyclical behaviour of empirical measures of uncertainty. In the presence of matching frictions, an occasionally binding constraint on downward wage adjustment enhances the concavity of firms' hiring rule, resulting in an endogenous profit risk-premium. 摘要：We pose technology shocks where the innovation is biased towards more recently installed plants. 摘要：Workers are rarely assigned to perform the same task throughout their career. Instead, their assignments may change randomly over time to comply with the fluctuating needs of the organisation where they are employed. 摘要：This article studies coalition formation among individuals who differ in productivity. We consider egalitarian societies in which coalitions split their surplus equally and individualistic societies in which coalitions split their surplus according to productivity. 摘要：We examine 220 estimates of the present-bias parameter from 28 articles using the Convex Time Budget protocol. The literature shows that people are on average present-biased, but estimates exhibit substantial heterogeneity across studies. There is evidence of modest selective reporting in the direction of over-reporting present bias. The primary source of heterogeneity is the type of reward, either monetary or non-monetary, but this effect is weakened after correcting for selective reporting. ...

摘要：We investigate strategic communication about the social impact of costly prosocial actions. A 'sender' with noisy information about impact sends a cheap-talk message to a 'receiver', upon which both agents choose whether to act. 摘要：The elasticity of taxable income is a key parameter in tax policy analysis. To examine the large variation found in the literature of taxable and broad income elasticities, I conduct a comprehensive meta-regression analysis using information from 61 studies containing 1,720 estimates.
