摘要:An econometric analysis demonstrates that television ratings for NEA games are substantially higher when certain players (''superstars'') are involved. Thus, these superstars are quite important for generating revenue, not only for their own teams but for other teams as well. 摘要:This study examines how high school employment affects future economic attainment. There is no indication that light to moderate job commitments ever have a detrimental effect; instead, hours worked during the senior grade are positively correlated with future earnings, fringe benefits, and occupational status. 摘要:We model a mechanism that makes delegation of authority from a firm to a collective of workers profitable. Power is exchanged for loyalty. The model is tested using a matched panel of French workers and firms. For these firms, we know at two dates (1986 and 1992) whether a firm-level agreement has been signed. 摘要:We discuss the concept of ''team human capital'' and study the renegotiation of labor compensation after team members privately observe their own reservation wage.
