摘要:Let L be an ample line bundle on a non singular projective n-fold X. It is first shown that 2K(X) + mL is very ample for m greater than or equal to 2 + ((3n+1)(n)). The proof develops an original idea of Y.T. Siu and is based on a combination of the Riemann-Roch theorem together with an improved Noetherian induction technique for the Nadel multiplier ideal sheaves. 摘要:Rodin and Sullivan (1987) proved Thurston's conjecture that a scheme based on the Circle Packing Theorem converges to the Riemann mapping, thereby providing a refreshing geometric view of Riemann's Mapping Theorem. 摘要:We consider parametrized families of diffeomorphisms bifurcating through the creation of critical saddle-node cycles. We show that they always exhibit Henon-like strange attractors for a set of parameter values with positive Lebesgue density at the bifurcation value. 摘要:We establish that the infinitesimal ''H-definition'' for quasiconformal mappings on Carnot groups implies global quasisymmetry, and hence the absolute continuity on almost all lines. Our method is new even in R(n) where we obtain that the ''limsup'' condition in the H-definition can be replaced by a ''liminf'' condition. This leads to a new removability result for (quasi)conformal mappings in Euclidean spaces. An application to parametrizations of chord-are surfaces is also given.

摘要:Let rho(l) : G(E) --> H(Q(l)) be a system of l-adic Galois representations associated to a motive over a number field E with values in the algebraic group H. Let H' --> H be a central isogeny such that the complex Hedge structure lifts to H'. The main result is that, under some convenient hypothesis, and after restriction to a finite extension, the system of Galois representations lifts to H'.
