Let rho(l) : G(E) --> H(Q(l)) be a system of l-adic Galois representations associated to a motive over a number field E with values in the algebraic group H. Let H' --> H be a central isogeny such that the complex Hedge structure lifts to H'. The main result is that, under some convenient hypothesis, and after restriction to a finite extension, the system of Galois representations lifts to H'.
