摘要:What system of moral reasoning is characteristic for newly appointed and elected officials in post-Communist Poland? In extensive structured interviews with 485 local officials who experienced the transition from communism to democracy we expected to find a strong preference for principled reasoning when making ethical decisions in the work setting. 摘要:Can educational devaluation and occupational choice explain disparities between the earnings of Asians and whites better than discrimination does? Lewis and Kim argue that they do not. Additional education appears more valuable for Asians than whites. Asian-white grade disparities are larger in an almost entirely native-born group than in one including more immigrants.
