摘要:In this article, we address the problem of attitude estimation for rigid bodies using (possibly time-varying) vector measurements, for which we provide a necessary and sufficient condition of distinguishability. Such a condition is shown to be strictly weaker than those previously used for attitude observer design. 摘要:A new class of nonlinear systems, block logical dynamical systems (BLDSs), is introduced in this note. The existence and uniqueness of solution to BLDSs are first investigated. Then, the topological structure and global stability of BLDSs are analyzed, and a novel criterion is presented to verify the global stability of BLDSs. 摘要:In this article, a novel controller design is proposed to solve the finite-time regulation problem of the Heisenberg system, a prototypical nonholonomic system diffeomorphic to the Brockett integrator and many physical systems. 摘要:In this work, we consider the problem of event-triggered implementation of control laws designed for the local stabilization of nonlinear systems with center manifolds. We propose event-triggering conditions which are derived from a local input-to-state stability characterization of such systems. 摘要:In this article, we study the synthesisof a policy in a Markov decision process (MDP) following which an agent reaches a target state in the MDP while minimizing its total discounted cost.
