摘要:This article establishes the explicit formulas for the equivalence between fault detection filters and observers. The method relies on solving a Sylvester equation, the Schur decomposition, and algebraic manipulations. 摘要:We analyze a case study of output-feedback stabilization of an unobservable equilibrium. The problem involves achieving two conflicting goals: to estimate the unmeasured states, for which the system must a priori operate in an oscillatory regime, and to stabilize an equilibrium asymptotically. 摘要:Synchronization of large-scale Boolean networks (BNs) is studied in this article. Using semi-tensor product of matrices, the algebraic structure of all subnetworks' relationships is constructed. A necessary and sufficient condition is obtained for synchronization of large-scale BNs. 摘要:This article discusses the Dirac structure and the state-space representation of a class of port-Hamiltonian systems that evolve in discrete time. 摘要:We develop a general matrix pencil-based approach for efficient nonconservative realization of dual dynamic high-gain scaling-based control designs for a class of uncertain feedforward-like nonlinear systems.
