摘要:In this study, we investigate how consumers derive value from having the option to use physical stores for their transactions in the DVD rental market. We analyze data from consumers who subscribed to an online-offline video rental service from a leading company that closed a large number of physical store locations during our study period. 摘要:In this study, we develop a novel theoretical model of how the relationship between the buyer's use of power and the service provider's opportunism is moderated by the provider's perceptions of dependence advantage. Analyzing a dyadic dataset of 109 professional service relationships, we find that the extent to which the buyer's use of mediated and non-mediated power aligns with the service provider's perceptions of relative dependence is germane to the power-opportunism relationship. 摘要:Procurement auctions are widely used by governments and corporations to solicit bids for services and projects. Such auctions involve significant risk for the buyer, because the delivered quality is highly uncertain. We examine a multi-attribute procurement auction combined with a performance-based contract. 摘要:The increasing number of scandals about supplier violations of environmental and social regulations has put multinational companies' (MNCs) reputations at risk. 摘要:We consider the capacity allocation problem for a retailer with multiple suppliers and multiple demand classes. The retailer offers one seasonal product and reserves capacity from multiple suppliers. Customers in different classes are charged with different selling prices for the same product.
