摘要:Immense violence and corruption in Mexico, and their connections to illegal drugs in the United States, are a great problem of our time. Mexico's homicide rate in 2022 was 25 per 100,000, similar to Colombia's and more than triple the US rate. 摘要:An estimated 23 million people live on floodplains affected by potentially dangerous concentrations of toxic waste derived from past and present metal mining activity. 摘要:The vast majority of missense variants observed in the human genome are of unknown clinical significance. We present AlphaMissense, an adaptation of AlphaFold fine-tuned on human and primate variant population frequency databases to predict missense variant pathogenicity. 摘要:Assembly of the CMG (CDC-45-MCM-2-7-GINS) helicase is the key regulated step during eukaryotic DNA replication initiation. Until now, it was unclear whether metazoa require additional factors that are not present in yeast. In this work, we show that Caenorhabditis elegans DNSN-1, the ortholog of human DONSON, functions during helicase assembly in a complex with MUS-101/TOPBP1. 摘要:When pregnant, maternal immunologic tolerance is required to ensure that the fetus is not rejected by the mother's immune system. This tolerance is achieved by expansion of a subset of CD4(+) T cells with regulatory properties (T-reg cells) that protect against fetal loss (1-3).
