摘要：Pay inequality can arise from unequal earnings for the same job or an unequal workload for the same earnings. Although existing research focuses on aversion to unequal earnings, little is known about aversion to unequal workloads, particularly gender differences. 摘要：We develop and estimate a structural model of buyers' observational learning, search, and bidding, using unique data on in-person home viewings and transactions. We use the estimated model to quantify the welfare impact of different information disclosure rules. 摘要：Firm births are key drivers of employment growth, productivity gains, and creative destruction. We show that setup costs create sizable financial constraints for new firms. When firms face high setup costs, they can only be established by leveraging up and lengthening debt maturity. We empirically confirm these predictions in a large sample of young French firms. 摘要：We study competition between two firms that personalize product offerings to consumers. Firms have private, imperfect signals of each consumer's ideal location and offer each consumer a different product without observing the competitor's product offering. 摘要：This paper examines the preferences of 10,000 capital owners worldwide, including nearly 3,000 from the world's largest sovereign wealth fund, regarding green shareholder voting and divestment. 摘要：How do venture capital investors react to social movements, including those that relate to historical underrepresentation in funding? We use image and name algorithms combined with clerical review to classify race for 150,000 founders and 30,000 investors.
