  摘要：In the present paper, we define a notion of numerical equivalence on Chow groups or Grothendieck groups of Noetherian local rings, which is an analogue of that on smooth projective varieties. Under a mild condition, it is proved that the Chow group modulo numerical equivalence is a finite dimensional Q-vector space, as in the case of smooth projective varieties.   摘要：Let L be a number field containing the r-th roots of unity. Starting with the Rankin-Selberg convolution of a metaplectic Eisenstein series on the r-fold cover of GL(2) with itself, we construct a Dirichlet series defined over L whose coefficients involve the r-th order twists of a fixed Hecke L-function.   摘要：A conjecture of Kac states that the polynomial counting the number of absolutely indecomposable representations of a quiver over a finite field with given dimension vector has positive coefficients and furthermore that its constant term is equal to the multiplicity of the corresponding root in the associated Kac-Moody Lie algebra. In this paper we prove these conjectures for indivisible dimension vectors.
