摘要:The rise of public-private partnerships (PPPs) in China has spurred heated debates about their purpose and effectiveness. This article traces the fluctuation of China's PPPs over several decades and finds that PPPs have played a supplementary role in China's infrastructure investment, as a response to the pressures of fiscal shortfalls and government debts. 摘要:This article analyzes the positions of top public officials on an equity-efficiency trade-off id the determinants of those positions. It uses data from a survey across 14 European countries. The results show that differences in public officials' positions on equity-efficiency are related to the context in which they work and to their personal background. 摘要:Scholars have long understood that structuring internal work processes into more hierarchical or team-based arrangements has consequences for organizational outputs. 摘要:This article examines whether the public holds biased perceptions of public organizations (in this case, hospitals) in the United States and whether organizations get credit for positive results from program evaluations.
