摘要:Metaphors are the cognitive lenses we use to make sense of all situations. Intimately interconnected with the way we think, metaphors are fundamental in shaping reality. 摘要:The use of group decision support systems (GDSS) is rapidly growing. One key factor in the effectiveness of these systems may be the manner in which users are supported in their use of this technology. 摘要:This study uses data from 260 public managers information technology and computer-based information (CBI) to serve public managers: the ''knowledge executive'' and the ''CBI consumer.'' The data were collected as part of a longitudinal study of computer use in more than 40 U.S cities conducted in 1976 and again in 1988.
