摘要：We consider a periodic review single-item inventory model under stochastic demand. Every m periods, in the regular order period, fixed order costs are K. In the periods in-between, the intraperiods, higher fixed order costs of L>K$L>K$ apply. The literature on optimal inventory policies under fixed order costs does not account for these time-dependent fixed order costs. 摘要：In this study, we analyze how customer perceptions of ex ante unfairness affect a service provider that offers a priority service option. Customers differ in their waiting time costs, but that information is private to each customer. 摘要：We report on the findings of five controlled experiments that test the effectiveness of proposed interventions aiming to improve both the process and outcomes of decision making when performing the newsvendor task. 摘要：We study return shipping insurance (RSI) policies prevalent on platforms such as JD.com and Taobao.com.
