摘要:Reverse factoring (RF) is a highly relevant form of supply chain finance. Whereas extant analytical studies indicate how RF should enable buyers to extend payment terms, sufficient empirical evidence is lacking. To hypothesize on payment term extensions, we study three motives-financing cost, fairness, and standardization. Our empirical evidence indicates the presence of all three. It extends former analytical work on RF adoption revolving around the financing cost motive only.

摘要:This work aims to jointly estimate the arrival rate of customers to a market and the nested logit model that forecasts hierarchical customer choices from an assortment of products. The estimation is based on censored transactional data, where lost sales are not recorded. 摘要:This paper studies the competition between two software vendors: one offering software as a service (SaaS) and the other providing on-premises software, both facing software upgrades with different customizability and implementation costs. We build a theoretical model to explore the vendor's pricing and market segmentation strategies.
