摘要:Exponential stabilization is studied for reaction-diffusion systems (RDSs) with a reaction term satisfying the global Lipschitz condition by means of intermittent boundary control.First, a state-dependent intermittent boundary controller is designed when system states are available. By employing the spatial integral functional method and Poincare's inequality, a sufficient condition ensuring exponential stability of RDSs is presented. Then, an observer is presented to estimate the system state...

摘要:This article addresses the problem of estimating the domain of attraction of positive systems under a saturated linear feedback. Compared with the analysis of general saturated linear systems, one remarkable difference is that only the domain of attraction inside the first orthant is of interest. Hence, we tackle this problem by exploiting different shapes of invariant sets confined in the first orthant, including hyperpyramids and hyperrectangles, which are, respectively, the level sets of su...

摘要:This article studies the robust output feedback stabilization problem for multi-input-multi-output (MIMO) invertible nonlinear systems with output-dependent multipliers. An ideal state feedback is first designed under certain mild assumptions. Then, a set of extended low-power high-gain observers is systematically designed, providing a complete estimation of the ideal feedback law. This yields a robust output feedback stabilizer such that the origin of the closed-loop system is semiglobally as...

摘要:In this article, the local stabilization problem is dealt with for a class of continuous-time multiple input-delay systems subject to saturating actuators. Using the generalized sector conditions and the piecewise Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, and carrying out rigorous mathematical deduction, a sufficient condition is established under which the closed-loop dynamics is exponentially stable for admissible initial conditions. Subsequently, the explicit characterization of controller gains is o...

摘要:Are rewards or penalties more effective in influencing user behavior? This article compares the effectiveness of subsidies and tolls in incentivizing user behavior in congestion games. The predominantly studied method of influencing user behavior in network routing problems is to institute taxes which alter users' observed costs in a manner that causes their self-interested choices to more closely align with a system-level objective. Another conceivable method to accomplish the same goal is to...

摘要:Designing feasible control strategies for opinion dynamics in complex social systems has never been an easy task. It requires a control protocol, which 1) is not enforced on all individuals in the society, and 2) does not exclusively rely on specific opinion values shared by the social system. Thanks to the recent studies on noise-induced consensus in opinion dynamics, the noise-based intervention strategy has emerged as the only one meeting both of the above requirements, yet its underlying g...

摘要:In this article, we study how to secure distributed filters for linear time-invariant systems with bounded noise under false-data injection attacks. A malicious attacker is able to arbitrarily manipulate the observations for a time-varying and unknown subset of the sensors. We first propose a recursive distributed filter consisting of two steps at each update. The first step employs a saturation-like scheme, which gives a small gain if the innovation is large corresponding to a potential attac...

摘要:Complex networked systems can be modeled and represented as graphs, with nodes representing the agents and the links describing the dynamic coupling between them. The fundamental objective of network identification for dynamic systems is to identify causal influence pathways. However, dynamically related data streams that originate from different sources are prone to corruption caused by asynchronous time-stamps, packet drops, and noise. In this article, we show that identifying causal structu...

摘要:In this article, we face the reference tracking control problem for a system of heterogeneous multiple unmanned vehicles (MUVs) moving in a 2-D planar environment. We consider a scenario, where each vehicle follows a trajectory imposed by a local planner and where each unmanned vehicle can have different linear dynamics as well as different constraints and disturbances. In this contest, we design a novel control architecture, where a centralized traffic manager, in conjunction with ad-hoc desi...

摘要:In this article, we study the problem of identification for the 1-D Burgers equation. This problem consists in identifying the set of initial data evolving to a given target at a final time. Due to the property of nonbackward uniqueness of the Burgers equation, there may exist multiple initial data leading to the same given target. In articles Initial data identification in conservation laws and Hamilton-Jacobi equations (arXiv:1903.06448, 2019) and The inverse problem for Hamilton-Jacobi equa...
