摘要:This article is concerned with the stabilization problem for a class of feedforward nonlinear systems via pulsewidth-modulated (PWM) controllers. First, a state observer, which features a dynamic predictor and a jumping update, is designed such that the unavailable full system state can be accurately estimated. 摘要:In this technical note, we study a finite double-sided queue with multiple customer types, where two-sided arrivals follow independent Poisson processes. Customers arrive to one side and match with queued customers on the opposite side. A gatekeeper who has complete knowledge of the number of customers decides to accept or reject each arrival. 摘要:In this work, the multiplier method is extended to obtain a general lower bound on the exponential decay rate for port-Hamiltonian systems in one space dimension with boundary dissipation. The physical parameters of the system may be spatially varying. It is shown that, under assumptions of boundary or internal dissipation, the system is exponentially stable. 摘要:In this article, we prove new connections between two frameworks for analysis and control of Boolean networks: the invariant subspace framework and the quotient framework. Each method, in different ways, produces a smaller model but preserves enough information about the original network. We make precise the connection between models reduced by the two methods. The results show equivalence between invariant subspace and quotient approaches for wide classes of analysis and control problems.

摘要:This article studies the optimal transmission scheduling for remote state estimation over multihop networks. A smart sensor observes a dynamic system, and sends its local state estimate to a remote estimator (RE). To save energy, multihop networks are deployed to relay data packets from the smart sensor to the RE.
