摘要:This article considers the data-driven stabilization of linear boundary controlled parabolic PDEs by making use of the Koopman operator. For this, a Koopman eigenstructure assignment problem is solved, which amounts to determining a feedback of the Koopman open-loop eigenfunctionals assigning a desired finite set of closed-loop Koopman eigenvalues and eigenfunctionals to the closed-loop system. It is shown that the designed controller only needs a finite number of open-loop Koopman eigenvalues...

摘要:In this article, we study the problem of decentralized optimization in the presence of adversarial attacks. In this problem, we consider a collection of nodes connected through a network, each equipped with a local function. These nodes are asked to collaboratively compute the global optimizer, i.e., the point that minimizes the aggregated local functions, using their local information and messages exchanged with their neighbors. Moreover, each node should agree on the said minimizer despite a...

摘要:We consider the design of event-triggered distributed controllers for multi-agent systems that are digitally implemented on local computation platforms and communicate over a packet-based network. Each agent is equipped with a local triggering mechanism that is only evaluated at the local sampling instants, thereby, taking a periodic event-triggered approach in which the sampling intervals are allowed to vary (jitter). Moreover, the locally triggered transmissions are subject to unknown, bound...

摘要:This article considers the problem to estimate a graphical model corresponding to an autoregressive moving-average (ARMA) Gaussian stochastic process. We propose a new maximum entropy covariance and cepstral extension problem and we show that the problem admits an approximate solution, which represents an ARMA graphical model whose topology is determined by the selected entries of the covariance lags considered in the extension problem. Then, we show how the corresponding dual problem is conne...

摘要:In this article, we consider the problem of distributed attitude estimation of multiagent systems, evolving on SO(3), relying on individual angular velocity and relative attitude measurements. The interaction graph topology is assumed to be an undirected tree. First, we propose a continuous nonlinear distributed attitude estimation scheme with almost global asymptotic stability guarantees. Thereafter, we propose a hybrid nonlinear distributed attitude estimation scheme enjoying global asymptot...

摘要:Opacity is a notion of privacy that is well studied in computer science and discrete-event systems. It describes an eavesdropper's inability to infer a system's secret states by observing the system's outputs. In this article, we consider opacity in linear dynamical systems and study four opacity classes-initial-state, current-state, K-step and infinite-step opacity, and show that they are fundamentally connected to two subspaces of the linear system-the weakly unobservable subspace and the we...

摘要:This article investigates the dynamic output feedback control for switched positive systems with mode-dependent persistent dwell time (MPDT) switching and unmeasurable disturbances. Unlike the previous results, in this article, we propose a radius analysis-based control method. By constructing the time-varying state zonotope and guaranteeing its dual convergence, dynamic output feedback controllers are designed, and then the stability of the closed-loop system and convergent state boundaries a...

摘要:This article considers a class of noncooperative games in which the feasible decision sets of all players are coupled together by a coupled inequality constraint. Adopting the variational inequality formulation of the game, we first introduce a new local edge-based equilibrium condition with full information. Considering challenges when communication delays occur, we then devise an asynchronous distributed algorithm to seek a generalized Nash equilibrium. This asynchronous scheme arbitrarily a...

摘要:Proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control has been the workhorse of control technology for about a century. Yet to this day, designing and tuning PID controllers relies mostly on either tabulated rules (Ziegler-Nichols) or on classical graphical techniques (Bode). Our goal in this article is to take a fresh look on PID control in the context of optimizing stability margins for low-order (first- and second-order) linear time-invariant systems. Specifically, we seek to derive explicit expre...

摘要:In this work, we consider convex optimization problems with smooth objective function and nonsmooth functional constraints. We propose a new stochastic gradient algorithm, called the stochastic halfspace approximation method (SHAM), to solve this problem, where at each iteration we first take a gradient step for the objective function and then we perform a projection step onto one halfspace approximation of a randomly chosen constraint. We propose various strategies to create this stochastic h...
