摘要:State observers inherently suffer from error peaking in the face of unknown initial states and un-modeled disturbances. This issue can make their state estimates useless during transient periods and whenever disturbances follow in quick succession. In this article, we propose an approach to fighting observer error peaking at its root. By directly reconstructing the system state from the output and its derivatives, we obtain an approximation of the true state that is used to drastically reduce ...

摘要:This article proposes a unifying design framework for dynamic feedback controllers that track solution trajectories of time-varying generalized equations, such as local minimizers of nonlinear programs or competitive equilibria (e.g., Nash) of noncooperative games. Inspired by the feedback optimization paradigm, the core idea of the proposed approach is to repurpose classic iterative algorithms for solving generalized equations (e.g., Josephy-Newton, forward-backward splitting) as dynamic feed...

摘要:This article considers a distributed Thompson sampling algorithm for a cooperative multiplayer multiarmed bandit problem. We consider a multiagent system in which each agent pulls an arm according to consensus-based Bayesian inference with probability matching. To estimate the reward probability of each arm, a group of agents shares the observed rewards with neighboring agents in a communication graph. Following the information exchange, each agent updates the estimation of the posterior distr...

摘要:The fragile common pool of resource (CPR) game is an instance of a resource sharing game where a common resource, which is prone to failure due to overuse, is shared among several players. Players have a fixed initial endowment and are faced with the task of investing in the common resource without forcing it to failure. The return from the common resource is subject to uncertainty and stochasticity, and is perceived by the players in a prospect-theoretic manner based on their behavioral chara...

摘要:In this article, mean-square leader-following consensus for multiagent systems is considered. In particular, nonidentical channel fading is involved in the systems which makes the consensus problem much more difficult. To overcome the difficulty, a novel distributed consensus protocol is proposed containing the relative measurement information and a feedforward controller. By applying a parameterized Riccati inequality and defining a Lyapunov function, sufficient conditions for the leader-foll...

摘要:Passivity-based approaches have been suggested as a solution to the problem of decentralized control design in many multiagent network control problems as stability can often be determined independently of the network topology. However, it is not clear if these controllers are optimal at a network level due to their inherently local formulation, with designers often relying on heuristics to achieve desired global performance. On the other hand, solving for an optimal controller is not guarante...

摘要:This article considers the problem of error identification and correction (EIC) in sensor networks, wherein the objective is to identify the agents that have erroneous state estimates and reconstruct their errors. We develop a general framework for reconstructing errors by processing nonlinear measurements obtained across the sensor network, based on the assumptions that the errors are sparse (i.e., only a fraction of the agents have errors) and that the sensor network is sparsely connected. I...

摘要:This article is concerned with game-based distributed least-distance formation tracking with a moving target. More specifically, the agents aim to form a desired shape while enclosing a moving target with a least overall distance. Different from most of the existing results on formation tracking, the key challenge for least-distance formation tracking under consideration is that the distances between the agents and the target are not required to be predefined but are autonomously adjusted by s...

摘要:This article considers distributed optimization for minimizing the average of local nonconvex cost functions, by using local information exchange over undirected communication networks. To reduce the required communication capacity, we introduce an encoder-decoder scheme. By integrating it with distributed gradient tracking and proportional integral algorithms, respectively, we then propose two quantized distributed nonconvex optimization algorithms. Assuming the global cost function satisfies...

摘要:This article introduces new conditions for target output controllability and provides existence conditions for placing a specific number of poles with a target output controller. In addition, an algorithm is presented for the design of a target output controller. Controllability of the system under consideration is not required for designing target output controllers in this context. The findings in this article extend the principles of full state feedback control. Moreover, we present conditi...
