摘要：Batch (wave) release policies are prevalent in warehouses with an automated sorter, and take different forms depending on how batches released consecutively may overlap downstream in the sorter. 摘要：This paper analyzes the trade-off between (demand) substitution costs and (production) changeover costs in a discrete-time production-inventory setting using a two-product dynamic lot-sizing model with changeover, inventory carrying, and substitution costs.
