摘要:The recent refugee crises in Ukraine (2022) and Syria (2011) have created millions of refugees, 40% of whom are children. The education systems of countries hosting refugees struggle to integrate such large populations. In addition, language barriers and the stigma associated with refugees hamper inclusive and equitable education opportunities for these children. 摘要:We study a two-tier supply chain in which multiple manufacturers sell their products through a single retailer, and consumer choices follow a Multinomial Logit model. Each manufacturer selects from its portfolio an assortment of products to sell, subject to a cardinality constraint on the size of the assortment. 摘要:We consider the dynamics of a two-sided platform, where the agent population on both sides experiences growth over time with heterogeneous growth rates. The compatibility between buyers and sellers is captured by a bipartite network. 摘要:We examine when and how task division improves performance for inventory planning. Specifically, we consider a decentralized inventory management context with two interdependent subtasks: preparing a forecast and setting a service level. Using a behavioral experiment, we reveal that the task challenge moderates the relationship between task division and performance.
