摘要:The motion-to-suppress safeguard is designed to prevent false eyewitness identifications from leading to wrongful convictions. This safeguard is effective only if judges are sensitive to factors that influence lineup suggestiveness. The present study assessed judge sensitivity to foil, instruction, and presentation biases. 摘要:A meta-analysis of single-item measures of overall job satisfaction (28 correlations from 17 studies with 7,682 people) found an average uncorrected correlation of .63 (SD =.09) with scale measures of overall job satisfaction. The overall mean correlation (corrected only for reliability) is .67 (SD =.08), and it is moderated by the type of measure ment scale used. 摘要:This study examined the strength of the relationship between computerized and paper-and-pencil noncognitive selection measures. The tendency to engage in response distortion across these 2 modes was also assessed. The raw cross-mode correlations exceeded .90 for all of the substantive selection scales studied. 摘要:The relationships between examinees' racial subgroup membership and their perceptions of the predictive validity of a widely used personality test (NEO Five Factor Inventory; P.T. Costa & R. R. 摘要:The relationships among race, face validity perceptions, test-taking motivation, and test performance on a cognitive ability test were examined. Undergraduates completed 2 parallel cognitive ability tests and a test reactions measure. 摘要:Individual differences in the construct of managerial self-awareness (MSA) -operationalized as congruence between self and direct reports' behavioral ratings-were examined in 134 high-performing (HP) and 470 average-performing (AV) managers obtained from 4 independent datasets.
