摘要：The primary objective of this study is to examine the value implications of cross-border acquisitions of emerging-market multinationals (EMMs). We examine 433 mergers and acquisitions announcements associated with 58 EMMs during the sample period 1991-2004. The mergers and acquisitions announcements data come from the Thomson SDC Platinum database. 摘要：We develop a simple test to assess whether horizontal spillover effects from multinational to domestic firms are endogenous to the market structure generated by the incremental entry of the same multinationals. In particular, we analyze the performance of a panel of 10,650 firms operating in Romania in the period 1995-2001.
