Pearson''s system of frequency curves is obtained by integrating.[image].retaining only the first 3 terms of the denominator on the right-hand side. This paper deals with symmetrical curves obtained by retaining terms including c 4[chi]4. These give a better fit to certain distributions than second order Pearson curves or the normal curve.
