For two industrial groups (N =534, 269), the relationships among age, length of service, total earnings, satisfaction with earnings, and earnings aspirations and expectations were studied. For the groups of Indian workers studied, it was found that job satisfaction was highly related to income expectation, and that expectations are related to earnings. Income aspirations also were related to skill level and educational level.
