This study examined the relationships between situational constraints, leader-member exchange, goal commitment, and performance in a retail organization, Both situational constraints and leader-member exchange correlated significantly with commitment to assigned goals, and act interaction between leader-member exchange and goal commitment accounted for a significant amount of variance in sales performance.
