摘要:
Chris Greene grew up with an early interest in science. During his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, he realized he wanted to focus on theoretical atomic, molecular, and optical (AMO) physics. With help from influential mentors such as his PhD advisor Ugo Fano, Greene went on to have a long and distinguished career as a theorist working in AMO physics and chemical physics. Over his career, he helped develop theories of few-body systems, particularly in ultracold gases, and in his Inaugural Article, he describes his latestwork on developing the theory of a five-body collision.
