摘要:The disentanglement of certain augmentations is shown to be the topological join of a disentanglement and a Milnor fibre. The kth disentan glement of a finite map is defined and for corank 1 maps from C-n to Cn+1 it is shown that they are homotopically equivalent to a wedge of spheres. Applications to the Mond conjecture are given.

摘要:Let M-i -->(dGH) X denote a sequence of n-manifolds converging to a compact metric space, X, in the Gromov-Hausdorff topology such that the sectional curvature is bounded in absolute value and dim(X) < n. 摘要:We prove a version of the L-2-index Theorem of Atiyah, which uses the universal center-valued trace instead of the standard trace. We construct for G-equivariant K-homology an equivariant Chem character, which is an isomorphism and lives over the ring Z subset of Lambda(G) subset of Q obtained from the integers by inverting the orders of all finite subgroups of G. 摘要:The Kneser conjecture (1955) was proved by Lovasz (1978) using the Borsuk-Ulam theorem; all subsequent proofs, extensions and generalizations also relied on Algebraic Topology results, namely the Borsuk-Ulam theorem and its extensions.
