摘要:Finding optimal designs for nonlinear models is challenging in general. Although some recent results allow us to focus on a simple subclass of designs for most problems, deriving a specific optimal design still mainly depends on numerical approaches. 摘要:The nested case-control (NCC) design has been widely adopted as a cost-effective solution in many large cohort studies for risk assessment with expensive markers, such as the emerging biologic and genetic markers. 摘要:Aiming at analyzing multimodal or nonconvexly supported distributions through data depth, we introduce a local extension of depth. 摘要:We develop methodology that combines statistical learning methods with generalized Markov models, thereby enhancing the former to account for time series dependence. Our methodology can accommodate very general and very long-term time dependence structures in an easily estimable and computationally tractable fashion.
