摘要:This case study of Latvian local governments focuses on the qualitative aspects of reform legislation passed and implemented between 1990 and 2003 as the best available measures of changes made. 摘要:The aim of this article is to gain some understanding of the way the European Court of Auditors (ECA) assesses European Union (EU) member states' performances in managing EU finances. To this end the ECA's annual reports for 1996-2001 have been analysed. 摘要:This paper uses the BSE ('mad cow disease') crisis as a case study of the workings of the British core executive during a crisis event. It argues that generally, the relationship between ministers and civil servants is harmonious.
