摘要:We study distributed big-data nonconvex optimization in multiagent networks. We consider the (constrained) minimization of the sum of a smooth (possibly) nonconvex function, i.e., the agents' sum-utility, plus a convex (possibly) nonsmooth regularizer. Our interest is on big-data problems in which there is a large number of variables to optimize. 摘要:This article studies online stochastic optimization, where the random parameters follow time-varying distributions. In each time slot, after a control variable is determined, a sample drawn from the current distribution is revealed as feedback information. 摘要:We propose a constructive design method for linear systems with a nontrivial drift term, guaranteeing robust global asymptotic stability of the origin of the closed-loop system, as well as robust obstacle avoidance. To obtain discontinuous input actions, our controller is designed in the framework of hybrid systems. 摘要:This article provides performance bounds for a particular H-infinity model-matching problem. We consider scalar linear time-invariant plants in a one-degree-of-freedom control loop. We obtained explicit expressions for the Gramians needed when Nehari's theorem is applied to this problem, leading to a simple algebraic equation for the optimal performance. 摘要:This article presents a solution to event-triggered stabilization of a class of nonlinear time-delay systems in the strict-feedback form. 摘要:This article discusses the uniform exponential stabilization of bilinear systems with multiplicative control inputs. We first consider the case of finite-dimensional bilinear systems, and we present stabilization results concerning the case of open-loop stable systems using a bang-bang feedback control.
