摘要:This note investigates the distributed optimal resource allocation problem of multiagent systems over unbalanced directed networks under the relaxed condition that the gradients of local cost functions are locally Lipschitz. The objective is to cooperatively drive the decision variables of the agents to the optimal solution, which minimizes the sum of the local cost functions, while ensuring that the network resource constraints and local feasibility constraints are satisfied. A novel distribu...

摘要:In this article, based on discrete orthogonal polynomials and the block $\epsilon$-circulant matrix, we explore a parallel input-independent model order reduction method, which is suitable for the single-input discrete-time systems characterizing nonaffine uncertainty about a scalar parameter. With the explicit difference relations of Charlier polynomials, Meixner polynomials, and Krawtchouk polynomials, the expansion coefficients of the state variable are obtained. Furthermore, we derive an i...

摘要:This article addresses the problem of decentralized state-tracking in the presence of sensor attacks. We consider a network of nodes where each node has the objective of tracking the state of a linear dynamical system based on its measurements and messages exchanged with neighboring nodes notwithstanding some measurements being spoofed by an adversary. We propose a novel decentralized attack-resilient state-tracking algorithm based on the simple observation that a compressed version of all the...

摘要:In this article, input-to-state stability and stabilization conditions in time-delay generalized Persidskii systems are studied. These conditions are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which may depend on delay values, and be local or global in state-space. Numerical examples of opinion dynamics and the Lotka-Volterra model illustrate the efficiency of the proposed results.

摘要:We study strongly convex distributed optimization problems where a set of agents are interested in solving a separable optimization problem collaboratively. In this article, we propose and study a two-time-scale decentralized gradient descent algorithm for a broad class of lossy sharing of information over time-varying graphs. One time-scale fades out the (lossy) incoming information from neighboring agents, and one time-scale regulates the local loss functions' gradients. We show that assumin...

摘要:In this article, an adaptive neural finite-time event-triggered consensus tracking problem is studied for nonlinear multiagent systems (MASs) under directed graphs. First, the unknown nonlinear functions of MASs can be approximated by neural networks. Then, a distributed adaptive event-triggered control scheme is proposed via command filter and backstepping technique. The newly designed control scheme cannot only circumvent the problem of the explosion of complexity, but also remove the singul...

摘要:For single agent systems, probabilistic machine learning techniques such as Gaussian process regression have been shown to be suitable methods for inferring models of unknown nonlinearities, which can be employed to improve the performance of control laws. While this approach can be extended to the cooperative control of multiagent systems, it leads to a decentralized learning of the unknown nonlinearity, i.e., each agent independently infers a model. However, decentralized learning can potent...

摘要:A finite horizon optimal tracking problem is considered for linear dynamical systems subject to parametric uncertainties in the state-space matrices and exogenous disturbances. A suboptimal solution is proposed using a model predictive control (MPC) based explicit dual control approach, which enables active uncertainty learning. A novel algorithm for the design of robustly invariant online terminal sets and terminal controllers is presented. Set membership identification is used to update the ...

摘要:purpose of this article is to present a comprehensive study of the Tavis-Cummings model from a system-theoretic perspective. A typical form of the Tavis- Cummings model is composed of an ensemble of non-interacting two-level systems (TLSs) that are collectively coupled to a common cavity resonator. The associated quantum linear passive system is proposed, whose canonical form reveals typical features of the Tavis-Cummings model, including vN- scaling, dark states, bright states, single-excitat...

摘要:This article proposes two low-gain controllers for systems with distributed input dynamics, governed by diffusion equations with counter convection. It is shown that the considered PDE-ODE cascade system can be exponentially stabilized with the proposed low-gain controllers as long as the open-loop plant is not exponentially unstable. A key advantage of the proposed controllers is their much simplified form in comparison with the existing backstepping-designed controllers developed for the sam...
