摘要:In this note, we develop an adaptive observer for a class of nonlinear systems with switched unknown parameters to estimate the states and parameters simultaneously. The main challenge lies in how to eliminate the disturbance effect of zero-input responses caused by the switching on the parameter estimation. These responses depend on the unknown states at switching instants (SASI) and constitute an additive disturbance to the parameter estimation, which obstructs parameter convergence to zero....

摘要:A geometric generalization of contraction theory called k-contraction was recently developed using k-compound matrices. In this article, we focus on the relations between k-contraction and two other generalized contraction frameworks: partial contraction (also known as virtual contraction) and horizontal contraction. 摘要:In this article, we prove new connections between two frameworks for analysis and control of Boolean networks: the invariant subspace framework and the quotient framework. Each method, in different ways, produces a smaller model but preserves enough information about the original network. We make precise the connection between models reduced by the two methods. The results show equivalence between invariant subspace and quotient approaches for wide classes of analysis and control problems.

摘要:A simplified analysis is performed on the Bode-type filtering sensitivity tradeoff integrals, which capture the sensitivity characteristics of the estimate and estimation error with respect to the process input or estimated signal in continuous- and discrete-time linear time-invariant filtering systems. 摘要:This article studies the optimal transmission scheduling for remote state estimation over multihop networks. A smart sensor observes a dynamic system, and sends its local state estimate to a remote estimator (RE). To save energy, multihop networks are deployed to relay data packets from the smart sensor to the RE. 摘要:We tackle the problem of a set of agents achieving resilient consensus in the presence of attacked agents. We present a discrete-time reputation-based consensus algorithm for synchronous and asynchronous networks by developing a local strategy where, at each time, each agent assigns a reputation (between zero and one) to each neighbor.
