摘要:Maximal monotonicity is explored as a generalization of the linear theory of passivity, aiming at an algorithmic input/output analysis of physical models. The theory is developed for maximal monotone one-port circuits, formed by the series and parallel interconnection of basic elements. These circuits generalize passive linear, time-invariant (LTI) transfer functions. 摘要:We present a suboptimal economic model predictive control (MPC) algorithm that combines the strengths of two common suboptimal MPC approaches, one based on a warm-start and one based on an optimality gap. This algorithm is specifically designed to address a class of large and infrequent disturbances that are relevant when considering discrete actuators and production scheduling in control problems. 摘要:This article deals with the input-output representation of a class of timed discrete event systems. The systems considered are those that can be described using timed event graphs extended with weights on the arcs and clock rate modifiers or time-varying delays. 摘要:This article introduces the notions of stability, ultimate boundedness, and positive invariance for stochastic systems in view of risk. 摘要:The framework of port-Hamiltonian (pH) systems is a powerful and broadly applicable modeling paradigm. In this article, we extend the scope of pH systems to time-delay systems. Our definition of a delay pH system is motivated by investigating the Kalman-Yakubovich-Popov inequality on the corresponding infinite-dimensional operator equation.
