摘要:Various sensors embedded in smart products can now provide alerts and warnings to users. However, these alerts can also influence user general behavior. We evaluate the effect of advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) warnings on general driving behavior using automotive telematics data from a large automotive company. 摘要:This paper studies the competition between two software vendors: one offering software as a service (SaaS) and the other providing on-premises software, both facing software upgrades with different customizability and implementation costs. We build a theoretical model to explore the vendor's pricing and market segmentation strategies. 摘要:Queue-based rules for allocating scarce goods are widely utilized in booking systems due to their perceived efficiency. However, empirical investigations into the externalities and opportunity costs of queuing in multitasking scenarios are limited.
