摘要：This paper considers a principal-agent variant of the classical make-to-stock single-server queueing system. The principal incurs, all costs for holding inventory and backordering demand. The agent dynamically controls the production rate at the server and incurs a convex production cost. 摘要：Crew costs are the second-largest operating expense faced by the airline industry, after fuel. Thus, even a small improvement in the quality of a crew schedule can have significant financial impact. 摘要：This note is concerned with the inventory models with finite horizon and cost changes. We presented more specific results on the optimal inventory policy than those in previous papers and showed that some of the results in Lev and Weiss' (1990) paper are not necessarily optimal.
